As a Licensed Building Practitioner with the Department of Building and Housing and a Certified Infrared Thermographer, you can be assured that your inspector has proven knowledge, and experience and is kept up to date on the latest changes in the industry.

All inspections are carried out in accordance with the New Zealand Standard for Residential Property Inspections NZS4306:2005,
First Inspections Ltd is a member of Standards New Zealand. Through modern technology and communication systems we are kept up to date on all changes within the Building Code to ensure our advice is accurate and informative.
First Inspections Ltd use two forms of Moisture Meters on all inspections, the Protimeter Surveymaster and the Trotec T650.
Using the latest Infrared Technology with a Flir Thermal Imaging Camera developed specifically for Building Inspections, we can identify and track leaks and moisture that would be otherwise invisible to the naked eye.
Thermal Imaging (if applicable) and non invasive moisture testing is utilized to determine any moisture issues, and further invasive testing can be carried out upon request. Thermal Images and Digital Images are taken throughout the home to highlight any areas of defect or maintenance requirements.
Written and Verbal Inspections are available 7 days a week, and full reports available within 48 hours if required. First Inspections Limited carries both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance for your piece of mind!
